My 2014 Christmas Decor Home Tour

Hello Hello!

Today I'm sharing my 2014 Christmas Decor Home Tour with all you fantabulous readers!

I'm also linking up to:

Enjoy the tour:

This year we put lights up on the front of the house and I LOVE it!

Here's the Front Door by day:
and...
by night

So.. come on in to tour my Christmas-y home:

The Entry Way:
This year I decided to go with real garland on my staircase.  It's only been up for a little over a week and it's already so dried out.  I'm not sure if I'll do real stuff again.
I painted my entry table and mirror recently.

I ordered a new rug for my entryway.  This one came from Overstock.  I just got it today and I LOVE it.

The Kitchen:

The Breakfast Nook:

Notice my Kitchen Command Center cabinets are gone now. I had a little remodel work done this last summer and I haven't shown you my new window opening from my kitchen to my family room.
I love being able to see into my family room from my kitchen now.

Looking at these photo's now though, I'm thinking I may have to paint those lower cabinets to match the trim on the opening.

The Family Room:
I am LOVING my new fireplace stone & mantel!  I mean LOVING it!  I've waited a long time to hang stockings from a real mantel.

I recently painted the mantel and my coffee table too. Oh and that mirror, I painted that too.

My little Mr. was napping while I snapped photo's today... BUT he woke up and decided to make an appearance on the blog today ;)  I haven't even shared one photo of him since he came into this world, 9 1/2 months ago and I've had a few readers ask to see our little man...
So meet our 5th boy, Cruz! He's our little love and he's as spoiled as ever having 4 older brothers.

Okay, back to the tour:

The Living Room:

ohhh... can you spy MJ (our elf?)  He was hanging out in the living room today.

and that completes my 2014 Christmas Decor Home Tour.  Hope you enjoyed it.

  4. Everything looks beautiful! Your Christmas décor is so elegant and yet everything still looks family friendly and flows beautifully throughout your home. Adorable picture of Cruz...thanks for posting! All of your sons are so cute! You guys must be a good looking couple to have all of those handsome boys:) Your stockings look nice over the fireplace and that I am loving that new stone fireplace. Really pretty! I noticed you removed the Command Center cabinets right away. I like it better without but only because as a Mom, I know I'd like to be able to see into the family room while working at my desk. The trim work around the desk looks very high end. Nice job. I hear you on the real garland. I love the way it looks too but it made a big mess last year so this year, I limited the real garland to flat surfaces only. I used it in my living room (coffee, sofa and end tables), foyer table, back if the toilet and master bedroom end tables and it looks beautiful. I then hung the real garland outside beneath the windows. I kind of miss the darker furniture-your furniture was so pretty and looked expensive however I do understand wanting to change things to white. It's pretty popular today. Have a great Christmas and thanks for sharing pics of Cruz with us. He's adorable!
