Kids Face Painting Ideas, Paint Supply Organizer & a Winner

Every October, my church hosts a “Family Fall Fun Fest” night.

It’s an evening mostly for the kiddo’s, BUT then again, I get just as excited for this night as the kid’s do,  so I think it’s for us adults too ;)

The room is setup with many different “booths” that the children go to, play games and win candy and fun prizes.  The children look forward to this evening ALL year long.  I'll share more on the "booths" in another post.

This week is our Fall Fun Fest and I’ve been busy getting ready for my lil’ booth.

I run the Face Painting Booth. I know, it's not a game, BUT little kids love to get their face painted and my line doesn't end until the night is finished.
In preparing for my booth, I needed to get my face painting designs and supplies in order.  So I found some leftover material from my craft room photo board and made myself a face painting supplies bag:
It holds all my supplies that I need for the evening.
I made it to open flat with pockets on each side.
It’s certainly NOT perfect  but it works for what I wanted it to do.  I can't sew a straight line for the life of me.  I’d rather come up with the design and have somebody else sew it for me, BUT that wasn’t an option, so I did it.
I washed out one of my boys painting trays and filled the sections with face paint.  The holder that is holding the tubes of paint and my brushes is a kids marker holder that my boys no longer use.
Other items that I make sure and have with me is: a mirror, paint tray, wet wipes, paper towel, q-tips and bobby-pins.
I  do a “practice night” at home and snap photo’s of each painted face design.  This here, is the framed piece that I will be taking with me. It gives the children a design to choose from and it also gives me something to work from too.  It should be a fun filled evening!

That’s why I created the NEW post gallery at the top of my blog, which I’m super excited about.
The gallery is set up in five different sections: Organizing, Decorating, Before & After's, Party & Gift Ideas and Projects & Tutorials

Say you decided to view all organizing posts, go to the post gallery and if you click on the view all organizing posts you will be directed to a page that looks like this:

You can also get to any of the different sections in the post gallery from my blog sidebar too, under the popular categories photos.
