I've been working on helping a client furnish and decorate her new home. I was SO excited to find the coolest storage unit for an entry way at a great price. I simply MUST share it with you.
Maybe you've got this perfect area in an entry way or a back entrance or hallway and you need storage. This may be just what you are looking for.

After a ton of online research I came upon the Ashton Bench and Wall Shelf Unit. You get the bench, the shelf, the four baskets and the cushion. All of that for $299.99 and if you have JCPenney coupons, you can save even more on the item.
I gave JCPenney a call and found out that the unit was available and would be delivered in 4-7 business days. I mean seriously, I was excited! So I called my client, she ordered it and it's so perfect!
Pottery Barn has the Samantha Entry Way Collection, and it's beautiful.

But we were going for the Pottery Barn look, without the Pottery Barn prices. The shelf and bench is on sale at PB for $450.00-$500.00. PLUS you have to still get the baskets and the cushion too.
The JCPenney Ashton Bench item arrived in two boxes. Yes, it has to be put together, but it's a great piece, with so much storage and I think it's SO worth it. I can't wait till it's put together and brought into my clients home, giving her a beautifully organized entry way.
Oh yeah and we also ordered this Coat Rack with Umbrella Stand from JCPenney too.

My client is getting oodles of storage for her entry way. I simply can't wait to see it all come together! I'll share the end result, once it's complete.

Nice work! I like! In fact I have the very same hat rack you got at JCP. Don't remember where we got it but it serves it's purpose well at the front door. I know your client is thrilled!
ReplyDeleteI have the SAME bench - I was also inspired from Pottery Barn. Mine is slightly different cause it's a little older and I was able to buy it half off but I love it!

You can see it in the room. My mom recovered the bench {there were three separate, white cushions} with a single cushion in a coordinating color.

Organizing Made Fun
That's so awesome! Thanks for sharing! A few years ago my mom found the PB metropolitan console table at JC Penney for a few hundred less. When I tell people this they think I'm talking about a cheap knock-off, but it is THE SAME table, just distributed by different stores! Sometimes you really have to search, but it pays off in the end!
ReplyDeletefantastic blog i like this and images are very beautiful...

wow amazing savings. It looks great too Im sure she will be pleased :)
ReplyDeleteI was in that same situation. My good friend owned the Pottery Barn one and it was HUGE, I mean big and heavy furniture. along with a big price tag, I got the JCP one at a fraction of the cost plus used some coupons, made a few adjustments to it (used wood glue to insure it withstood use) and it looks amazing! My mudroom is wow! Martha Stewart would be proud. I dare say even better than the pottery barn one, makes me one happy momma :) Wish I could send you a pic
ReplyDeleteGood call on the entry way items! We have to use our laundry room (which is off the front hall in the front of the house just tucked off the garage and main entrance) and I use a storage bench and hooks. Yours looks much tidier though!
ReplyDeleteYou all made some great choices! I am loving that hat/coat rack too! :)
ReplyDeleteLove the storage area! I've been looking for something like that for awhile now... thanks!
ReplyDeletehave you finished this space yet?? i'm dying to see pictures! :)
ReplyDeleteGood work! Looks great and useful too, very effective!
