Back in my Make Your Own Belt Holder Post, I told you that I had moved my oldest sons dresser into another room in my home and that his clothing is now on a bookcase in his closet. I was waiting for the canvas bins that I wanted (for his clothing) to go on sale and they DID!! So I picked them up and finally finished organizing his closet.
I totally LOVE these canvas bins... remember I used them (in green) in my Toy Closet?
NOW they make smaller ones too, which are perfect for items like socks, pj's, and underwear. There are smaller cubicles too. You can find them at Target, etc.
And you already know that I LOVE. LOVE. LOVE. delightful tags...
So of course, I made some.
I'll show you the tutorial on these guys soon!!
Clothing fits quite nicely into the bins.
Here's the rest of the closet:
I like matching hangers...
makes for a delightful space.
My oldest is a collector. He collects anything AND everything! From hot-wheels, to soda bottles, to shells, misc toys, to his dad's old trophies, etc. and so I added a few bins to his closet for storage. The misc box ALSO holds some of his collections.
Baseball cards are a GOOD collection, because they can be worth something someday. He also has a few binders full of cards. These are the cards that haven't yet been placed in plastic sleeves and added to the binders.
This room also serves as my "guest room." When company comes to stay, Trayton (my oldest) moves into his brothers room and our guests stay in this room. I have this luggage rack for their suitcases. I found it, a few years back, at Bed Bath and Beyond.
His belt holder is on the wall next to all his clothing.
That's how I've organized my son's clothing. If you missed any of my other posts in this room, click the link to be directed to the post:
How about you, who else LOVES these canvas bins?
Do you have another way of storing clothing other than a dresser?
