For Christmas, each year, I send my mother a photo calendar {I usually create it at Costco} with all her grandchildren's photo's & birthdays.
Last year I made this greeting card photo box for her as well.
I thought it was a fun gift idea & wanted to share it with you, my friends.
This would make a great Christmas or Birthday gift.
The box is actually a plain CD box that I dressed up with scrapbook paper & a few embellishments. I used Modge Podge {Love that Stuff} to glue & seal it.
A closer view of the cover of the box. {I did this box before I owned my Cricut, so I actually cut everything by hand}
This is inside the box cover & it's just a printout of the cards that were inside the box. I sealed it with Modge Podge too.
Of course, it has to be organized - so I created some labels.
These are some of the homemade cards that were in the box. There were 43 total {It took quite a while to make all the cards, but it was super fun & super addicting.} I put each card into it's own plastic card sleeve {purchased at Craft Warehouse} so they wouldn't get ruined. Some of these photo's are taken with the plastic sleeves on, which would explain the glare on some and not others.
Be Inspired! Make a Card! Or Better Yet, Make a Card Box! :)
That looks great!

This project is gorgeous. I know about the "addictive" thing - once I get started on something I can just continue ... I made over a hundred ornaments before Christmas. I was on a roll and having so darn much fun. New Year Wishes. Linda
